The project scope includes the development of a 3.71-acre site with the construction of seven multiplex structures

This project includes removal of four air cooled chillers from unused buildings at the Kentucky State Reformatory. Three chillers will be put into temporary short-term storage under the base bid. This project consists of the replacement of the Nurse Call, Access Control and Patient Monitoring System at two KDVA facilities within the State. The contractor will be responsible for the demolition of the existing systems within the facilities. The contractor will be responsible for providing a complete and operable system for the facilities including but not limited to new raceways, low voltage conductors and 120V power circuits.
Door hardware modifications will be made at each facility to facilitate the installation of new Access Control Devices. Patching and painting of wall will be required in areas of the building where new devices are added or existing devices are removed and not replaced. Owner training will be provided during construction and at the completion of the construction based on phasing and completion of the individual phases.

This project involves the replacement of three segments of the existing underground medium voltage power distribution loop (conduit and conductors) from between existing padmounted sectionalizing switches PMS-5 and PMS-6; PMS-6 and PMS-7; PMS-7 and PMS-8 are included in this Phase II. Segments identified in the Drawings as Priority 4, 5, and 8. A previous Phase I replaced all other cable segments in the main loop.
This project also includes replacement of all nine of the existing S&C Electric Model PMH-6 exterior padmounted sectionalizing switches, labeled PMS-1 through PMS-9 in the Drawings.
Surge arrestors are being added, along with additional grounding. Existing and new medium voltage cables are to be VLF tested and existing dry type substation transformers are to be tested.
Description and location of Project: This project includes a paved ditch installation behind 9806 Stanalouis Drive in Metro Council District 20. All work shall be done in accordance to MSD’s Standard Specifications.

limited to traffic signage, earthwork, revisions to/installation of new storm work, and seeding to be
