The scope of this project is to replace portions of the primary Chilled Water and Hot/Chilled Water piping, perimeter Fan Coil Units and controls associated with the HVAC system at the Health Services building in Frankfort. This project will include mechanical replacements, electrical upgrades to pump controls, as well as associated controls upgrades and programming. Additionally, interior finishes upgrades to fan coil unit cabinetry will be implemented within this scope of work.

The goal of this project is to provide a roof recover for multiple sections of the roof. Approximately half of the roof was replaced previously. This project will replace the remainder of the roof. The existing roof is a two-ply modified bitumen roof which appears to have been heavily patched. The new system will be a ½” gypsum cover board with a new two ply SBS modified bitumen roof set in cold adhesive. The existing metal coping will be re-used on the part of the building to receive new roofing.

Turn right at the 1st cross street onto C&O Railroad Road and go 1.3 miles. Turn right onto KY 805 E/HWY 805/S Main Street and continue 3.4 mile. Turn left onto McPeaks Branch Road and go 0.9 miles to the project site on the left (817 McPeaks Branch).
There exists a slide directly behind the home at 817 McPeaks Branch Road. This is the slide appears to be linked to previous mining in the Upper Elkhorn #3 coal bed.
The slide material is to be excavated and replaced with Class III Backfill. The excavated material will be placed in the vacant lot located beside Mrs. Fleming. This is Scott Fleming’s property and remnants of a burned out home remain there as well as two out buildings. The two small buildings are to be removed by the property owner but not replaced by AML. A subdrain will be constructed along the base of the of the slide and discharged into the drainage channel in the front of the house.
