Sanitary line replacement is required in two locations..
This project is to modernize Elevator 8C in Pavilion H on the UK Medical Center Campus.
The work will include replacement of existing control systems, car and lights, door operator, traveling cable and hoist way wiring.
Louisville Water Company is requesting proposals for the systematic dismantling and replacement of existing 48”, 60” and 78” discharge headers including valves and connecting piping with new 78” discharge headers and associated valves and connecting piping. replacement of the existing single span bridge with a precast three-sided reinforced concrete
bridge structure and precast concrete wingwalls, all supported on a concrete footing on steel
HP piles. The bridge will provide a clear waterway opening of 9.0 feet high by 22 feet wide
with concrete sidewalk, concrete curb and gutter, concrete railing and approximately 100 feet
of approach work consisting of surface milling, pavement reconstruction with asphalt and
compacted aggregate, concrete curb and gutter replacement, install concrete guardrail
transition, steel guardrail with guardrail end treatments, scour stop, seeding, signing and
pavement markings, and all other items shown on the plans and mentioned in the contract
specifications for a complete project.
The Newtown Campus of Bluegrass Community & Technical College located at 500 Newtown Pike in Lexington (Fayette County) seeks to expand provide additional campus signage for identifying buildings and streets within the campus. There will be grounted mounted signs, building mounted signs and regulatory signs.
Under base bid, remove two existing steam boilers and all steam system components in central mechanical room, including feed tank, heat exchanger, steam and condensate piping, etc. Provide two new condensing heating hot water boilers to feed building’s existing heating hot water loop. Work of the Project includes Building and Site Work for the construction of a new 170,000 GSF Middle
School designed for 1,200 students. Included in the scope of the work is site work and paving for the site.
A portion of the site is reserved for the construction of an elementary school to be constructed in the
future. The project is constructed of masonry veneer and metal paneling on ICF, CMU walls. This multistory
facility will be supported by spread footings with slab on grade. Roofing systems will be a 2-ply
modified bitumen roof, with select areas of roof sanding seam metal panel. An ICC 500 compliant tornado
shelter will be provided. The project is a high-performance building with geothermal heating and cooling
and enhanced building envelope commissioning. Site work will encompass extensive earthwork,
permeable surfaces, seating walls, signage, utility work, landscaping, seeding and sodding, parking,
drives and traffic control devices.
