This project will remove the existing gravel parking lot and small asphalt parking lot at the rear of the campus and create a new 442 parking space paved parking lot and widen the existing entry from Loop Drive. The parking lot will consist of curb & gutter, storm drainage system, lawn and planting areas, concrete/asphalt pavement, and conduit for future site lighting.
The project will maintain the existing entry from Loop Drive. The road will now branch off into the new parking lot and circulation will flow through the parking lots to access drives around the perimeter of the campus.
The site has some overhead utilities that will be removed. Several utility poles will be removed. The existing lights for the project area will be removed and new lighting standards have been established. The owner will purchase the lights and poles at a future date, however under this project the conduits will be installed.

This project consists of the replacement of 28 VAV terminal boxes and ceilings. The
project also includes demolition of existing air handling light fixtures and installation of
new diffusers and connecting ductwork. A separate contractor will be working
concurrently to upgrade lighting, and install DDC building controls. The building is a
25,000 square foot, 2-story office building for the Department of Fish and Wildlife
Resources.

The Work includes construction of a 2-story addition to the existing 2-story facility located on the Licking Valley campus of Maysville Community and Technical College in Cynthiana, Kentucky. The spaces in the addition include classrooms, computer labs, simulated nursing labs, office space, men’s and women’s toilets, a stair, and an elevated mechanical room. The structure of load-bearing concrete and masonry walls will contain approximately 8,200 gross square feet.
The work includes materials testing which is not required by Special Inspections.
The contractor shall coordinate the work on-site with both a Commissioning Agent and a Special Inspections Agent. The cost of re-testing shall be borne by the General Contractor for performance failure.

This project is comprised of two boat launch facilities on Grayson Lake in Elliott County, Kentucky. The first site includes the construction of a new boat ramp with associated parking improvements and access road at the Newfoundland Site. Major project components include the following:

– Installing the specified drainage pipe and ditches;
– Installing guardrail;

The second site is a carry-in boat launch facility and associated parking area at the Heritage Site. Major project components include the following:
– Constructing a concrete walkway from the parking area to the launch;
– Constructing a concrete boat launch platform;
– Constructing a gravel parking area
Construction for the Base Bid shall consist of approximately 1920 LF of 4″ PVC water line, 26 LF of creek crossing, 30 LF of open cut with steel encasement, 1 gate valve, 1 blow-off, 1 ARV, 260 LF of 1″ PE service lines and all other necessary appurtenances.

Mechanical Penthouse in the University of Kentucky Sanders Brown Research Facility in Lexington, Kentucky. Total existing building square footage is 62,590 S.F. The work consists of demolition of existing finishes, partitions, and building systems and construction of new partitions, installation of new finishes, building systems, and laboratory items as required to create new animal care laboratories. New finishes include resinous floor, epoxy painted gypsum board, concrete masonry unit partitions, epoxy painted ceilings, and suspended ceiling systems. New building components include laboratory casework, and laboratory equipment, including a cage wash unit, sterilizers, and biological safety cabnents. Installation of new building systems include new air handling unit, chiller, and rooftop mounted exhaust units

The scope of work inckudes the installation of approximaetly 586 LF of Waterline and appurtenances, and the installation of approximately 770 LF of sanitary sewers and appurtenences as shown on the construction plans.
This project occurs in older, three story concrete pan joist building, and work consist of the renovating approximately 1,700 first floor square feet into lab space, and providing new HVAC for an additional 1,200 square feet of multipurpose/classrooms. General trades work to be selfpreformed by the University. Electrical work to be performed by the University’s unit price contractor. HVAC controls work to be preformed by the University’s unit price contractor. HVAC Controls work to be performed by University’s controls contractor with bid allowance. HVAC work includes removing existing HVAC systems, three new fume hoods with variable volume exhaust and DX/hot water. 100% makeup air rooftop HVAC unite for ventilation and room pressure control in labs. Plumbing includes floor drains, emergency shower/tempering valve, multi-stage pure water system, and hydronics piping. Variable refrigerant flow fan coil heat pumps provide temperature control in all rooms. Additional work on second floor consists or providing utilities and exhaust/makeup air for new fume hood in small lab.
This project includes but is not limited to: (1) electric service to modular distribution panel, (2) crane service to set modular building units, (3) foundation pile driving, (4) earthwork fill and compaction, (5) masonry bock and brick, (with materials furnished by KRCC), (6) asphalt paving, (7) HVAC and (8) flood light poles and fixtures removal.
