Work is generally to include the rehabilitation of an existing Duplex Submersible Pump
Station (which does not include replacement of the concrete wet well and valve vault), 1
manhole (MH) and 1 Combination Air Release Valve & Box and the connecting pipe to be
constructed at the Combs Branch Lift Station just east of Chavies, Kentucky
The Project includes the following Work: The enlargement (includes nearly 50,000 cubic yards of
excavation) and beautification of an existing detention basin, as well as, the construction of nearly
3,200 linear feet of a multi-use trail in and around the detention basin.
Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) is seeking a qualified company to provide electrical grid hazard analysis services
on an annual basis as well as callback services as needed for the University.
The Electrical Systems in the HVAC Lab, located at Maysville CTC and HVAC Lab, located at Mt. Sterling, KY will be upgraded and provided for power to HVAC trainer modules. All systems shall be installed per Kentucky Building Code with Current Revisions, Americans with Disabilities Act, International Building Code, and National Electrical Code.
The Owner’s preferred daily work schedule shall be Monday-Friday 8 hour/day. There are no Contractor working days on Saturday or Sunday. A 48 hour notification is required for any outage of the existing Power System. Any damaged utility by the Contractor must be put back into service immediately.

Kentucky, College of Agriculture, Food and Environment.
Stamped, engineered drawings are included in the bid package. Engineer-stamped truss
drawings are required from the contractor for any pre-manufactured trusses used on this

The project generally consists of HVAC piping replacements and installation of additional valves in multiple buildings on the campus of Western State Hospital. HVAC piping will be replaced to match existing sizes and reconnect to existing equipment within the facility. Ceiling replacements will be required to accommodate piping work. Trades involved include but are not limited to demolition, ceilings, and mechanical.

The project consists of mass earthmoving, site demolition, site utilities, retaining walls, other site
improvements, and preparing the site for future phases of work.
All asphalt paving, concrete walks, curbs / curb and gutters and other noted improvements have been removed from this phase of the project. All topsoil placement, except at the earthen dam for the detention basin, has been removed from the project. Except at the earthen dam for the detention basin, all permanent seeding and permanent erosion control blankets have been removed from this phase of work. The phasing and sequencing plan has been revised to remove the majority of the phased earth moving operations around the student parking lot. A new temporary gravel parking lot will be placed adjacent to the school. There will be some minor phasing and sequencing required to establish this parking lot prior to demolition the existing student parking lot, however the requirements greatly reduce the earth moving phasing operations to allow access to the entire site for earth moving operations.
