Robert Ratliff & Mike DeLong (AML) Reclamation Pro, 29th Annual Construction Grant
RFB-6-12
The Division of Abandoned Mine Lands wishes to receive bids to perform reclamation work on :
The Ratliff site consists of a large slide behind the Robert Ratliff and Ronnie Ratliff residences as well as small slide in front of the Ronnie Ratliff residence and three abandoned mine adits on the bench above the Ratliff residences. The large slide will be excavated and stabilized with four separate retaining walls. The walls will consist of one pile and lagging wall, one gabion wall and two free standing block walls. The small slide will be stabilized with a reinforced concrete wall. The three mine adits will be closed with 8¿ pipes and drained to a constructed subdrain with a 12¿ pipe. The subdrain will be constructed from the adits down the slope and under the pile and lagging wall to an installed dropbox below the pile and lagging wall. Drainage from the dropbox will flow into a new HPDE pipe which will carry runoff away from the residence. The road from the residences to the top of the bench will need to be upgraded with roadway stone and a guardrail. The DeLong site consists of drainage issues affecting the DeLong property. The drainage will be corrected by excavating the affected hillside and constructing a gabion retaining wall with a subdrain behind the wall as well as a rockcore subdrain in front of the wall. The drainage will be carried to an existing ditch in front of the property. For continued project description see Special Conditions
