This Work includes the construction of a 2,000 sf office building at 3923 Madison Pk., Covington, KY 41017. The building is slab-on-grade with wood framed walls, vinyl clad double hung wood windows, R-19 batt insulation, shop-fabricated wood trusses, asphalt shingle roofing, and fiber cement siding. Typical floor finish to be vinyl composition tile, typical wall finish to be painted gypsum board, typical ceiling to be suspended acoustical tiles. Typical ceiling height to be 8’-0″, typical bearing wall to be 10’-1″. The HVAC system is an electric heat pump. The building will accommodate an occupancy of 21 and house the following rooms and functions: a large workroom with kitchenette, four private offices, a small conference room, men’s and women’s restrooms, mechanical room, custodial room, communications room, and reception room. The Work also includes a small concrete parking area (1 space, accessible).

The work includes: Renovation of three auto lab spaces consisting of a 12,782 square feet. The work includes Demolition, General, Mechanical and Electrical Construction. The interior walls consists of existing cmu. The interior consists of selective demo work to accommodate renovation, which includes removal of concrete slab for new openings of vehicle exhaust system. Interior also includes high-performance epoxy flooring over existing slab-on-grade. Painting includes cmu walls, hollow metal doors with hollow metal frames, metal handrails and stairs, and metal joists and deck. Roof requires patch work of removed hvac equipment. New plumbing to tie into existing sewer in building. HVAC system to consist of unit gas heaters, tied to exiting supply and new RTU as alternate. Electrical work consists of providing power for equipment tied to existing panels.
The scope of work consists of a full resturant ground up build. All mechanical trades will be required as well as glass/glazing, drywall/metal stud, rouch carpentry, finish carpentry, tile, acoustic ceiling, painting, and roofing.

The project provides for all labor, materials, and equipment to provide approximately 2015 LF of Standard Header Curb and 1245 SY of concrete sidewalk along Shelbyville Road from Thierman Lane to Fairmeade Road. Associated work includes, but not limited to, removing existing curb and sidewalk; constructing drainage structures; and pavement restoration
The construction documents cover the exterior renovation and structural repairs to Fire Station #6, 301 S Limestone Street, Lexington KY. Building is a historic building. All work must comply with historic preservation standards. The building will be occupied and all systems are to remain in operation. Contractor must have experience with historic projects. The west section of the roof over the original building will be removed and replaced with single-ply membrane, the existing steel framed skylight will be replaced with double-glazed aluminum unit, original hose tower masonry will be repointed, gutters shall be replaced, flashing up masonry walls and under clay tile coping. Below this roof section, in the kitchen an area of ceiling has been damaged by water and shall be repaired. The portico attached to the later truck bay addition shall have the glazed roof and sidewall removed. The roof is to be wood framed with asphalt shingles on oriented strand board deck. New sidewalls shall be concrete block with brick veneer on the exterior and ceramic tile on the interior. Gutters, downspouts and trench drains shall be installed.

The work will consist of earthwork, gradework, and revegetation of 3 bond forfeiture permit(s). For continued project description see Special Conditions.
A pressure sewer system incluiding a possible 24,340 LF of HDPE collector sewers, 41,030 LF of HDPE service line, 140 simplex residential grinder pump stations, 11 duplex residential grinder pumping stations, 1 quadplex grinder pumping station with odor control system, and 1 conventional submersible pump station with odor control system.
