RFB-55-14 Lona Collins (AML) Reclamation Project

RFB-55-14
Estimate: $565,000.00
The Lona Collins Site has been previously worked by OSM. The resident continues to have drainage issues that have resulted in their access drive being inaccessible for her medical treatment. AML proposes to open and drain two collapsed portals using subdrain and ditches. The water will be directed around the access drive into Stonecoal Creek. A gabion wall will be constructed to stabilize the hillside and prevent material from blocking the drainage. A guardrail panel pile and lagging wall will be constructed and tied into the existing OSM gabion wall. A concrete swale ditch will be constructed in front of the walls to drain any surface water away from the access. Existing culverts will be replaced due to their poor condition. Construction will be able to access using the Collins driveway and the neighbor’s driveway. AML will waste onsite. No trees greater than 5” diameter will be removed during construction unless during the October 15th- March 31st window. For continued description, see Special Conditions.

previous locations. A new asphalt shingle roof with a 40 year warranty will be installed
