The project is the construction of a new US 127 Access Control Point By-Pass Road for the Department of Military Affairs at Boone National Guard Center, Frankfort, Kentucky. The Project consists of sitework and roadway construction, including the following: Selective demolition of existing asphalt paving (limited), Addition of engineered fill using on-site borrow, Grading, Exterior asphalt or concrete paving, Electrical conduit for future use under roadway,Seeding and sodding. Additive Alternate No. 1: Construct concrete islands and canopies for CAC readers in approach lane. Additive Alternate No. 2: Add paving at Response Zone and construct 8 inch tall channelization islands. Additive Alternate No. 3: Add all guardrails as shown at paving perimeter.

This project includes the replacement of the existing overhead primary electrical 4,160
volt service along an existing pole line as well as an extension to allow for further
development of the facility. The existing overhead primary will be temporarily back-fed
through existing switches during the reconstruction. Work scope also includes
installation of a pole mounted street lighting transformer and installation of roadway
lighting on new poles. Several existing poles are designed to be replaced, the
contractor will be required to maintain existing communications services while
replacing existing poles.
The program of work for which bids are to be submitted consists of, but if not limited to, the following: Approximately 700 lineal feet of new 16” DI water piping and appurtenances, a creek crossing and a railroad bore.

The scope of work includes the demolition and conversion of the existing Men’s Latrine, Exercise and Storage Rooms into new Men’s and Women’s Latrines and a new Exercise Room. In addition work includes the conversion of the existing Women’s Latrine into office space, new VCT and finishes in the Corridor and existing Offices, new doors and hardware. Specific work items include cutting and removing interior CMU walls, selective removal of existing concrete floors, new floor slabs, new quarry tile finishes, solid surfacing shower surrounds, painting, toilet partitions and accessories, new wood and metal doors and hardware.
Mechanical and electrical improvements include removal of existing plumbing and installation of new plumbing supply, waste and vent systems, installation of new plumbing fixtures and water heaters. Mechanical improvements include the complete installation of a new heat recovery ventilation system and associated ducting and diffusers. Electrical improvements include installation of new light fixtures, sensors and receptacles in the renovated space.

The site can be reached from the intersection of KY 80 East and KY 1146; turn right onto KY 1146 travel 1.2 mile; turn right onto KY 476 travel 1.3 miles; turn left onto KY 1088 travel 3.3 miles; turn left onto Grigsby Branch Road travel 0.5 miles reaching the Sizemore Residence driveway. Take a left onto driveway, slide in located in front of residence. All permits needed, if any, will be obtained prior to construction activities. All areas are described separately.
Slide Area
The slide which is currently in the front yard will be abated by excavating for a 12’ high gabion wall and grade work as shown. There is also a slide just to the right of the residence and on the right of Grigsby Branch Road that is to be excavated to bedrock and grade work as shown. The excavated materials from the gabion wall area will be wasted on site as well as transported to an off site area if needed. The material from the excavate to bedrock area will be transported to an off site area which consists of a large previous disturbed residential lot just to the north of site. Class II Backfill will be used behind the wall to enhance stability above and behind the wall. Straw Bales and Silt fence are proposed for proper silt control. A sub-drain bid item is included behind the gabion wall and in front of wall for drainage of area.
A revegetation bid item is included to revegetate the site area at the end of construction. A landscape allowance & utility relocation bid items are included to replace “in kind” qualifying features as disturbed to facilitate the abatement plan. Likewise, a Bituminous Repair bid item is included to repair “in kind” any pavement damaged during normal construction activities.

The construction and/or furnishing of items as listed in the Bid Schedule for the Fayette County Detention Center Kitchen Floor Replacement, located in Lexington-Fayette County, KY.
The project includes an addition of approximately 10,700 square feet to the Mercer County Senior High School, and new, heavy duty paving for a section of road on the high school campus. Building construction will consist of poured concrete foundations, ICF and CMU bearing walls, bar joists and metal roof decking, with a 2-ply modified bitumen roofing system. Additional improvements on the site of the old Harrodsburg High School will include site grading and drainage for a new, 8-lane running track, new field events, and new track & field lighting.

The work includes construction of new and/or the rehabilitation of sidewalks throughout the city of St. Matthews, KY. Specifically, the work includes the construction and or replacement of curbs, sidewalks, sidewalk ramps and driveways, in accordance with the ADA requirements. The project provides for all labor, materials, traffic control (if necessary), equipment and any other necessary incidentals needed to complete the construction.
Project consists of construction of an approximate 15,000 square foot pre-engineered steel frame building for use as livestock show facility and includes associated site work, masonry and general construction, plumbing and electrical work.
The program of work for which bids are to be submitted consists of the construction of phase 1 of a 200,000 gallon per day (GPD) wastewater treatment plant using the process called “Sequencing Batch Reactor”. The proposed treatment process will include a process train that includes a Fine Screening/Solids Removal facility, Influent Pump Station, Two SBRs Basins, Post Flow Equalization basin, Chlorine Contact Basin, Aerobic Digestion basin, Sludge Dewatering drying beds, Chemical Feed System, Control/Laboratory Building, maintenance building, and a Back-up Power emergency generator including all related appurtenances.
