The project also includes site improvements in front of the East and West Headworks; actuator modifications at splitter structures upstream of the Headworks facilities; new downward opening weir gate and stop logs upstream of the West Headworks; electrical, instrumentation and control improvements in the Headworks facility; and primary sludge pump station piping and fitting modifications.

The contract will be for the construction of a stream and wetland mitigation site located on the Higginson-Henry Wildlife Management Area in Union County, Kentucky. The contractor will be responsible for the grading of 5 restored stream channels on-site and in-stream modification of 6 existing stream channels. Grading will include the installation of several different in-stream structures and placement of gravel material in restored riffles. Additional site grading will include the installation of groundwater dams, grading historically modified wetland areas to proposed elevations, and removal and plugging of drain tiles in an active agricultural field. The contractor will be responsible for all sediment and erosion control measures. The contractor will be responsible for installation of live cuttings, bare root trees and containerized trees.

Louisville Water Company is requesting Bids for installation of 60 +/- linear feet of 8-inch DR-18 C900 PVC water main (using traditional trench installation techniques), the installation of 540 +/- linear feet of 8-inch Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main (using traditional trench installation techniques), the installation of 1,275 +/- linear feet of 6-inch DR-18 C900 PVC water main (using traditional trench installation techniques) and the installation of 1,780 +/- linear feet of 6-inch Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main (using traditional trench installation techniques). The project scope includes the construction of a new, pre-engineered metal building with three storage bays, with approximately 1200 gsf. The project includes the demolition of the existing wooden structure, grading, concrete work, asphalt pavement and minimal electrical systems.
Construct all associated sanitary and storm sewer piping and structures as shown on the construction plans and specifications for the Meadows-Northland-Arlington Neighborhood Improvement Project, Phase SD.
