The Work includes removal of existing roofing at Roy G. Eversole Elementary School and replacement with new tapered insulation and PVC roofing. Work also includes new roof edge metals, gutters, downspouts and roof ladders. Total roof area is approximately 42,000 square feet, distributed among 6 different roof levels and canopies.
The Lois Smith residence is located east of the community of Kimper, at 37° 29’ 05.8” N and 82° 16’ 20.8” W. The site can be reached from the Kimper/Phelps exit by taking a left and traveling north on Route 194 to the junction with Route 632. Continue on past the intersection with Route 1758. This site is on the right, approximately 5 miles past Kimper. Drainage from an old slide area saturates the area behind the residence. Site preparation for the site and associated waste area includes clearing and grubbing of vegetation. Straw bales and silt fence are included to minimize erosion from the site. No trees larger than three inches in diameter, whether dead or alive, will be removed except during the designated time allowed unless they are on an unstable slope. The Construction Manager (CM) will provide assistance and advice and provide management services to the Owner and design consultants to assure the project is completed within the defined budget, program and schedule.
Work of the project is a Renovation of the Adult Training Center of Lincoln Village for Department of Juvenile Justice in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The project will be administered thru DECA/Lynn Imaging systems. The work consists of: Selective demolition of walls. New Restrooms, Enlarged Classroom & New Office work. Installation of movable partition. Renovation of sprinkler system to work with changes in the building renovations. Plumbing work for new restrooms. HVAC work to work with changes in building renovation & new energy recovery ventilation system. Electrical work to work with changes in building renovation.

New construction includes a softball field house that is approximately 2,148 square feet on the lower level. The lower level includes public toilets, concession stand, a locker room, visitor changing room, office and support spaces. There is a second level that houses a press box that is approximately 348 sf. This will be constructed with a concrete foundations and stem walls, with ground face concrete block and wood rafters, plywood sheathing and asphalt shingles. There is also wood framing and hardy board on the upper level of this building. The renovation portion of this job includes a partial roof replacement at the baseball fieldhouse. The new roof will be a SBS system. Coordination with a bleacher manufacturer will need to occur on this part of the job.
B. This project includes selected renovation of three floor levels of the existing lodge with a total floor area of approximately 32,000 GSF. The work includes: 1. Fabrication and installation of new HVAC duct and selective above ceiling repairs to existing fire suppression and electrical systems 2. Installation of new thermal fiberglass batt products in selected areas where sloped asphalt shingle roofs are located including shingle covered mansard roof areas. In some areas the work requires construction of wood partition walls in concealed areas above the ceiling to provide support structure for installation of fiberglass batt insulation. 3. Installation of new acoustic batt insulation in selected areas specified on the drawings. 4. This project includes but is not limited to the demolition and refurbishment of the specified portions of two vehicular sallyport gates and associated concrete matching, steel repair, painting, electrical, etc located at Northpoint Training Facility, Northpoint Training Center, 710 Walter Reed Rd, Burgin, KY, 40310.
The Security Control Board shall be replaced with a new mouse based system with a 32″ display monitor and a push to talk desk top microphone at the Lincoln Village Regional Juvenile Justice Center Building, located at 820 New Glendale Road in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The system will comply with all manufacturers’ requirements and shall report all events and digitally store them on the CPU’s internal hard drive, which will be fed from a local UPS Battery Backup with 30 minutes at 100% load. A redundant backup CPU shall be provided and stored on site with all necessary hardware and software. The Control Board is a critically important system and the contractor who wins the bid must provide 24 hour emergency response and be on-site with qualified personnel within 2 hours of an emergency call. Existing Door Locks, Door Switches, Scream Alarm Cell Speakers, Pages, Intercoms, Cell Lights, Cell Receptacles and Wiring shall be reused and connected into the new Control Board. All existing functions such as emergency overrides and group release shall be maintained and connected by the new Control Board.

The building package contractor shall be responsible for all work as required to complete the project with the exception of the food service equipment that is a separate bid package. The Project consists of a new 13,200 pre-engineered metal building to house the Temporary Dining Facility and is to be built on an existing parking lot adjacent to Lappin Hall near the center of the Morehead State University campus. Site work is limited in scope with demolition of existing asphalt for concrete foundations and installation of limited concrete walks, steps, handrails, etc. The Temporary Dining Facility building will be a pre-engineered metal building shell with Aramark and other food venues within the space. The metal building fit-up consists of metal stud and drywall walls and finishes required by each food venue. Finishes include exposed concrete and painted gypsum wall with partial stainless steel wall wainscot in food prep kitchens. Food service venues have plastic laminate casework with plastic laminate countertops. The fully sprinklered building has packaged HVAC outside units, several range hoods with make-up air units, plumbing and electrical included for each food venue area and main food preparation areas. Food service equipment is being supplied and set in place by a separate food service equipment package under separate bid. Equipment connections and associated utilities are required under this project.
Provide a complete turn-key overhaul for Chiller #1 to replace worn materials, restore compressor performance, replace purge pump and provide better reliability and additional service life. Include comprehensive field start-up.
