PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The project involves road widening and turn lane
addition work for Lemons Mill Road between the US 460 Bypass and Crawford Drive
in Georgetown, Kentucky. The project also involves the modification of the traffic
signal at the Lemons Mill Road and US 460 Bypass to incorporate a left turn signal.
Bids will include Equipment, Labor, Materials, and Material Delivery to complete the
item of work as per the construction plans for Lemons Mill Road Widening and
Improvements. The City will purchase the dense graded aggregate, crushed stone,
bituminous base, bituminous surface and bituminous tack materials under an
existing contract on a unit price basis, however, the Contractor shall include the
delivery and installation costs for this work in his bid. The City will award the
contract on a lump sum price basis to the lowest Bidder.

The work to be bid is described as follows:
Sanitary sewer rehabilitation by means of fold and form or cured-in-place sewer
rehabilitation technologies as shown on the Drawings and/or described in the
Specifications. Approximately 1,979 L.F. of 8-inch sanitary sewer rehabilitation. The
bids will include all provisions of the Project, including all associated work necessary to
provide a finished product that meets the requirements set forth in the Contract
Documents.
Description and location of Project: This unit based construction order is for a bank stabalization along the open channel located behind 2518 Pennacook Road in Metro Council District 12.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The objective of this project is to replace 24 windows in the basement of Bradley Hall. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to:
1. Removal of each wood (6) & metal (18) windows
2. Removal and discarding of metal security bars, etc., in multiple windows
3. Replacing all specified windows with aluminum windows including exterior panning and sills
4. Repairing all casement interior window returns/openings
5. Installing a 4-inch exterior stone sill at each louver and wood windows
6. Replacing all specified louvers and trim, and
Installing new exhaust duct and new exhaust fan for rooms 1 & 3
This project is for the construction of embankment, outlet ditches, an earthen building pad, lime stabilization of earthen building pad, aprons, fire access roadway, heli-port pad, erosion control, and temporary seeding & protection for a proposed rotary wing hangar site. This project is only for the building pad and related grading.This project does not include the rotary hangar building or any of its necessary components, storm drainage structures, fencing, pavement, final grading, or permanent seeding & protection. These items shall be part of a separate BTS Contract / RFP #102317.The finished dimensions of the earthen building pad are shown on the Construction Plans. Approximately 43,805 cubic yards of material (embankment) will be required for the construction of this entire project.
The project consists of renovation of multiple rooms in two buildings on the South Campus of Somerset Community College to accommodate new industrial curriculum.
In Building 1 an existing shop space will be used to house the injection molding equipment and the IMT (mechanical training) equipment. The space will remain largely unchanged except for new floor finish. The existing slab will receive an epoxy painted surface. Additional utility drops will be added at locations for new equipment.
In Building 2 six existing classroom spaces will be converted into three separate lab. The first will function largely as a classroom but will also include a storage space with partron counter to simulate the check in / check out process of small tools and equipment found in the industrial environment. The next lab will consist of combining two existing classrooms to house hydraulic and pneumatic training equipment. The final lab will consist of combining three existing classrooms to house robotics training systems and PLC work stations.
Mechanical and electrical systems will be altered as required to accommodate the new program in the existing space.
The project addresses the main pool at the community pool facility and does not address the wading pool or its appurtenances. The community pool upgrades consist of four repairs in the base bid and a fifth repair as an additive alternate. As outlined in this project manual the prospective bidders shall submit a lump sum bid on the four repair tasks and a separate lump sum bid on the additive alternate repair.
Project involves the demolition and replacement of 21 console geothermal heat pumps and 2 vertical geothermal heat pumps. The heat pumps will be owner provided. In addition the ductwork (lined and unlined) for the 2 vertical heat pumps shall be cleaned.
The single story building serves as the main Administration area along with an Auditorium, large computer lab and science classrooms. This project consists of an HVAC renovation for Classroom areas and Administration wing excluding the auditorium area. The auditorium will be renovated in a separate current project that includes many Architectural and MEP upgrades.
Existing System
The existing HVAC system for Meece Hall consists of a central plant with gas fired boilers and an air cooled chiller that provides chilled/hot water through a 2 pipe system. The building has floor mounted unit ventilators throughout with outside air ventilation provided through the louvers in the unit ventilators. The existing system will be demolished for a portion of the building.
Proposed System
The administration area and classroom wing will be served through a new VRF system using the 3 pipe technology. Each area is divided according to the phased construction.
The new HVAC system will provide an upgrade to ventilation requirements per ASHRAE 62.1. There will be one Dedicated Outdoor Air unit that will serve Outdoor air to each space per ASHRAE 62.1.
The HVAC controls will be through the VRF manufacturer’s multi-zone controller. The equipment controls will be required to have capability with Bacnet for future tie in to a FMS system. The future FMS will be required to have all CEMCS requirements.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Work is to include installation of approximately 2350 LF of 6-inch waterline and other
appurtenances, 2 service meters, a 2-inch meter and vault, a water loading station and scada to
monitor the existing KY 519 water storage tank and city’s master meters.
The project consists of selective demolition and reconstruction of the timber roof structure and wood shake roofing for a historic park shelter originally constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps through the US Department of Interior around 1934. The shelter is situated off a paved access road with lockable gate. The project includes protection of the existing structure to remain, selective demolition of the existing roofing and timber structure, and new fabrication and installation of a timber structure similar in appearance to the original. The project includes some minor restoration of the existing stone masonry floor slab and piers. New structure is of log or pole timbers fabricated to be similar in appearance to the original. New roofing is of wood shake.
