propose to reopen portal and Construct Non-Wildlife Portal Closure along with a Concrete Spring Box Inlet Type 1 that has failed from previous project. Tying into existing graded ditch
transporting AMD from portal to roadside ditch. Revegetate area as directed by Engineer. No trees 3” diameter or greater will be removed.

yard. We propose to reopen portals and Construct Non-Wildlife Portal Closures along with Class II/III Rock Ditch from portal to roadside ditch. Clean out roadside ditch along Hwy #399. No trees 3” diameter or greater will be removed.
The WHFRTC CHP Drainage Repairs Project includes the following major work items:
1.) Demolition
a. Shoring of all existing framing.
b. Removal of wood posts from grade level up to 3’. Complete removal of each post foundation.
2.) Structural Repairs
a. Provide a helical pier a minimum of 5’ into undisturbed soil and 2’ into new concrete foundation.
b. Provide new concrete pier at each column matching the depth of the removed foundation and extending 3’ above the existing final grade
c. Provide Simpson post base at the base of the remaining existing wood post that must be installed at the same time as the concrete pier

The Woodsbend Youth Development Center (YDC) is a school and boarding facility owned and operated by the Justice and Public Safety Cabinet, Department for Juvenile Justice, located at 163 Woodsbend Boys Camp Rd, West Liberty, KY 41472. Originally constructed in the 1960s and since had various additions and renovations, the main building covering approximately 15,500 sqft serves as a housing unit, dining facility, and administrative offices. The current mechanical system in this building is a water-source heat pump loop with a cooling tower and electric boiler. This system was installed in the 1980s and is no longer functionally in-line with the needs of the facility.
This project is the complete mechanical renovation of the Woodsbend Youth Development Center main building. Primary scope of work includes demolition of the existing water source heat pump system along with piping, cooling tower, pumps and electric boiler and replacing this system with a various zones of packaged and split system direct expansion units.

Scope includes restoration of the roofs on both buildings noted
above. Scope includes some locations of removal of existing wet insulation,
replacement with new insulation. Removal of existing ballast from EPDM roofing, patch,
repair and installation of a foam roof over the existing roof membrane. Unit pricing will
be utilized to aid in found conditions that have tectum decking damaged beyond repair.
There are multiple types of existing roofing on these buildings and some areas have no
work while some are to be restored.
The Project is located in Ravenna, KY. The Project entails clean-up of NON-TENORM and TENORM impacted media (waste materials, soils, sludges) at the site. The media has been contaminated via historic oil and/or gas development on the property.
Previous investigations at the site have determined that environmental media is contaminated with various VOCs, metals, and Radium. These constituents have been detected in on-site waste materials, soils, and sludges.
The waste materials, soils, and sludges will be removed for off-site disposal. All removals will be accomplished as specified. Following clean-up activities, the soil ground surfaces will be restored to match original grade and the area will be vegetated.

Cherry Hall is located on the top of the hill at WKU at 1906 College Heights Blvd. The project includes complete interior demolition, structural modification, and renovation to create modern classrooms, student collaboration spaces, a new 3-story interior atrium, and faculty offices. New fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems will be provided as part of the renovation. Building enclosure modifications and upgrades will also be completed including a new entrance at the rear of the building (Hilltop side), roofing replacement, window replacement, masonry restoration & cleaning, and foundation waterproofing replacement. The courtyard will be reconfigured to provide new outdoor spaces. New landscaping will be provided throughout the perimeter of the building. Although the project includes many new features, care will be taken to preserve, reuse, and maintain historical components of the building including the marble staircases, the marble paneling, base, & trim, and the patinated, copper dome.
Project scope entails the furnishing and startup of dedicated outdoor air units and fan coil units to serve 21 individual Patient and Administration Wings/Floors at Western State Hospital. These wings are located within Buildings 55, 56, 57, and 58. Project furnished outdoor air units and fan coil units shall be installed by others in a multi-phase approach. Inspection and factory startup of project furnished outdoor air units and fan coil units shall be provided in this project. This on-site inspection and startup of project furnished equipment shall be performed by a manufacturer’s representative and shall occur after others have installed the project furnished units and other owner furnished materials such as ductwork, piping, grilles and diffusers, etc.. Controls furnished with project furnished equipment shall be integrated into the building management system by others. Proper storage of all projects furnished equipment is required from the equipment delivery date to the installation date. All project buildings/areas are located within a secure, acute care adult psychiatric facility.

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to complete the
following:
• Surface Preparation: Clean all designated lots by sweeping, blowing debris, and cleaning
cracks. Treat oil spots, remove debris, and power wash as needed prior to sealing.
• Crack Sealing: Apply sealant to cracks wider than a ¼ inch, allowing for proper
curing time before striping.
• Seal Coating: Apply two coats of high-quality asphalt emulsion seal coating over designated
driving aisles and parking stalls.
• Curbs and Wheel Stops: Paint concrete curbs for traffic management (e.g., yellow for no
parking, blue for ADA).
• Restriping:
o Layout: All striping shall match existing layouts unless otherwise directed.
o Stall Lines: Paint parking stall lines, directional arrows, and fire lanes using
reflective traffic paint (white or yellow as required).
o ADA Spaces: Repaint and update handicap parking stalls, access aisles, and
symbols to meet all federal ADA Standards for Accessible Design.
