PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The project scope includes the addition of a meeting room seating 300 with added beds for 10 students.
New addition will be two stories with an unfinished basement. The addition will be approximately 5,600
GSF. Structure will be insulated concrete forms with hollow core structural planks and wood roof trusses.
Exterior walls will be brick with stone accents. Roof will be sloped hip roof with shingles and low-sloped
with thermoplastic membrane. Interior finished will be gypsum board walls, paint, wall covering, wood
detailing, acoustical ceiling tile, ceramic tiling in restrooms. The project will also include renovation of the
existing restrooms; finish upgrades in the foyer and dining Hall, and converting one room into and
accessible unit.

Louisville Water Company is requesting Bids for the installation of 4,515 +/- linear feet of 6-inch Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main, using traditional trench installation techniques. Also included with the project is the installation of one (1) fire hydrant and the transfer, renewal, relocation or discontinue of 92 +/- customer services.
The TIE Building for Gateway Community and Technical Collage is located in downtown Covington at 520 Madison Ave. The existing building is fully functioning all year. This project includes work on the 3rd and 4th floors. On the 4th floor the existing Drawing Lab will be enlarged from 800sf to 1060sf with the removal of two interior storage rooms. The existing entrance to the lab will be filled in and relocated. The existing student commons area will be enclosed to create a new 990sf Learning Lab. All new Architectural Modular Wall Systems will be provided by owner. MEP work will consist of power, lighting, technology, sprinkler, fire alarm, and HVAC work. Data/power connections at Modular Walls are to be coordinated with the Contractor. An office will be placed in an available existing space on the 3rd floor. The Commonwealth of Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration (DECA), on behalf of Kentucky Educational Television (KET) are making structural modifications to 14 towers. Thirteen towers are at various locations in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. One tower is in Indiana.KET received notice from the Federal Communications Commission reassigning 16 stations to new channels as part of the congressionally mandated repacking process or reorganization of the digital television bands. The repacking process is the final part of the broadcast television spectrum incentive auction. In general, these specifications and accompanying drawings describe the work to be done and the materials to be furnished to structurally upgrade 14 towers to meet the EIS/TIA 222 Revision G Standard. This work generally consists of structural modifications to various tower members, and structural modifications to tower foundations and tower anchor points. Structural modifications to the towers, in whole or part, generally consists of the removal and replacement of members, adding additional members, strengthening of existing members, removal and replacement of guy wires, and/or adding guy anchors.Structural modifications to the foundations, in whole or part, generally consist of increasing the size of the existing concrete foundations of the tower and adding additional mass to existing concrete anchor blocks of guyed towers.The 14 towers requiring structural modifications consist of either Stainless or Pi-rod brand towers. Tower heights vary from 297 feet to 950 feet.
