PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project consists of mechanical and electrical upgrades/modifications as required to upgrade the infrastructure associated with air distribution and hydronic systems of air handler 4, serving areas of Good Samaritan Hospital Central Sterile.

New improvements include limited curb and gutter at the existing parking lot, new light duty concrete sidewalks, landscaping to augment the existing campus landscape plantings as well as sod at disturbed areas, and an expansion of the existing patio. Work at the patio includes concrete pavement and unit pavers, with new site furnishings.
MEP improvements include upgrades to existing electrical systems throughout the Technology Wing (Area B), adding a sink base with new sink in the Nursing Classroom A202 and upgrades to existing exterior campus signage lighting. Pressure regulators w/dirt leg will be added to all existing compressed air drops. An eye wash station will be added to the welding lab. A hose bib will be added to the PCR room. Electrical transformers and panels will be added to serve new loads in the welding lab as well as through the Technology Wing. A cam-lock fitting will be added to the exterior fire protection drain down outlet. A 30’ hose will be provided to divert the water away from the building.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Miller Hall, constructed in 1898, has a rubble-stone foundation. The rubble stone is allowing ground water intrusion into the interior damaging plaster, drywall, flooring and other furnishings. The intent of this project is to waterproof the exterior of the foundation wall, install a foundation drainage system, reconstruct two plaza areas, and return the site to pre-construction condition. Interior renovations are not included in this project. Included in the project, is the renovation of the Miller Hall front step system,
The project consists of the renovation of space in Meece Hall on the Somerset Community Col-lege campus in Somerset, KY to create a culinary arts lab. Additional renovation will be required in Building 2 of the McCreary Center in Whitley City, KY to remove the existing culinary arts equipment and furnishings that will be relocated to the new lab in Somerset.
Mechanical, electrical and plumbing renovations will be required at both locations to disconnect the existing equipment and reconnect in the new space as well as to provide new utility infra-structure in Meece Hall for the new progam.
Existing equipment shall not be taken offline until the renovated space is ready to receive it.

The Old Corbin Middle School is located in Corbin, Kentucky for the Corbin Independent Board of Education, and with the District opening the new Corbin Middle
School facility in August 2018, the Old Middle School will become an Upper Elementary
(4th/5th Grade) Center with a student enrollment of 500 students. The proposed project will keep the iconic Middle School building that was the original high school for the District in use and maintain the strong presence it has in downtown Corbin.
The project consists of new PVC roofing membrane installed over existing metal panel roof system. Clean roof surface, loose lay rigid EPS insulation between standing seams, loose lay ½” fiber board insulation over entire roof and mechanically fasten both layer of insulation to existing metal roof. Mechanically fasten .060 PVC membrane roof over insulation. Install all PVC flashings and metal components to complete the installation.

This project consists of masonry cleaning and application of water repellant on approximately 35,000 sf. of a four story building. Masonry tuckpointing will be required where needed. Caulking shall include all masonry control joints and perimeter of all masonry openings and walk surfaces. Warranties will be required. Professional window cleaning is required.
This is a highly secured building and work shall safeguard and maintain existing security camera operation during construction. Protection of occupants entering the building with overhead work shall be addressed. The work shall be performed during normal work hours. There is no reason for workers to enter the building. Portable restroom facilities will be required. Water and electricity will be provided for the work. Allowances and units prices are being requested. Grass areas shall be protected from compaction during use of heavy equipment.
