The project scope includes a 7700 square foot addition of an Administrative
Suite, a 3200 square foot addition at the Gym, HVAC/electrical scope in the Gym and Auxiliary Gym,
and renovations of the existing Auxiliary Gym lobby/restroom area. The building additions will be
masonry load bearing structures with metal joists and deck, SBS roofing system, brick veneer
masonry, metal panels, aluminum storefront systems, and new site elements. Major system upgrades
will include Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Electrical & Voice/Data.

1) Project consists of demolition of existing structures on site; site work including earth work,
grading and pavement; site utilities, and a new Pre-Engineered Metal Building bus
garage.
2) Project cost range is anticipated to be under $1,800,000.
Project consists of the renovation of an existing facility to change the use
to a Fire Station. The Occupancy Classifications are Low Hazard Storage (S-2) for the
emergency vehicle garage and Residential (R-2) for the living quarters. The Construction Type
is VB and the total gross square footage of the building is approximately 4,900 SF. The project
includes an emergency vehicle garage and living quarters with sleeping areas, a kitchen, lounge,
restrooms, utility room, and an office.

Project consists of installing new roofing systems over existing buildings as
follows:
1. Tear off the existing roofing and insulation down to the lightweight concrete deck.
a. Haul debris away.
2. Mechanically fasten a fiberglass base sheet to the lightweight concrete deck.
3. Install one layer of 1” high density wood fiber insulation in hot asphalt.
4. Install one ply of smooth surface SBS modified bitumen base sheet in hot asphalt.
5. Install one ply of granule surfaced SBS modified bitumen cap sheet in cold asphaltic
adhesive.
6. Flash walls and curbs in 2 ply SBS modified bitumen base flashing.
a. The top sheet of the flashing shall have an aluminum foil facer.
7. Install wall coping and counter flashing of 24 gage steel with Kynar 500 finish in a
standard color to be chosen by the Owner.
8. Flash pipe penetrations, roof drains, and wall scuppers per roofing manufacturer’s details.
a. New wall scuppers shall be constructed of 24 gage stainless steel.
9. Demobilize and thoroughly clean jobsite upon completion.
10. Provide Owner with 2-year Contractor’s warranty and 20-year manufacturer’s labor and
materials warranty.

5. Install one ply of smooth surface SBS modified bitumen base sheet in hot asphalt.
6. Install one ply of granule surfaced SBS modified bitumen cap sheet in cold asphaltic
adhesive.

This project entails replacement of an 80 ton air-cooled scroll chiller, two (2) 1000 MBH boilers and flue, four (4) hydronic pumps, and retrofit of new LED lights with automatic controls. All new equipment will be reintegrated into the existing building automation system.
