The project is located on the campus of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) in Maysville, Kentucky. The Work includes the demolition of existing parking facilities and construction of a new parking lot with associated site improvements.
The demolition phase consists of removal of the existing Overflow Parking Lot and Lot A, along with utilization of on-site borrow areas as required for construction activities.
The construction phase includes installation of a temporary off-road haul route with culvert pipe crossings, and development of a new paved parking lot adjacent to the existing Science Lot. Improvements include grading, drainage, paving, pavement striping, and site lighting.
Upon completion of construction, areas previously occupied by Lot A and designated borrow areas shall be restored by respreading stockpiled topsoil and reseeding to establish vegetative cover, resulting in conversion to green space.
