RFP-27-002 Fire Commission District 14 Somerset Maintenance\/Storage Space<\/b><\/p>\n
Kentucky Fire Commission desires to procure professional architectural services and an associated project team to accomplish the construction of a new maintenance and storage building at the District 14 Fire Rescue Training Facility at 109 New Haven Lane in Somerset, Kentucky.<\/p>\n
This Request for Proposals is to construct a permanent maintenance\/storage facility. We envision this project to include an 80\u2019 x 125\u2019 steel\/metal clad building with a concrete floor, multiple overhead and man (entry) doors, basic radiant heat in the bay area, and large overhead fans. At the far east end of the building, we need a 30\u2019 x 80\u2019 area that is finished to include locker\/ restrooms and showers, classroom, entrance lobby, and above ceiling storage area mezzanine, small office and storage area. The far exterior east end of the building should have a covered concrete area for rehabilitation of recruits during inclement weather with exterior access to restrooms. Full concrete approaches\/aprons to all overhead doors and tie in concrete to the rear of the current administration\/classroom building. Appropriate technologies as needed.<\/p>\n
