KD-3122.0-1-26 CM Services for the Improve Medical Facility 3 (Health Park)<\/b><\/p>\n
UK King\u2019s Daughters desires the services of an experienced and highly qualified construction
\nmanagement firm to provide \u201cFULL SERVICE\u201d construction management on the proposed project.
\nThe Construction Manager (CM) selected will become a responsible, cooperative and contributing
\nmember of the Owner\u2019s professional team for the design and construction of the project. The
\nConstruction Manager (CM) will provide assistance and advice and provide management services to
\nthe Owner and design consultants to assure the project is completed within defined budget, program
\nand schedule.<\/p>\n
The total scope of this project is currently $3,500,000.00 with a total maximum construction budget
\nof approximately $3,215,000.00 to include costs for Construction Management Services as well as
\nfor the award of trade contracts. The contract established for construction management services will
\nbe of a pure agency relationship through Phase 4 Bidding, and then convert to a \u201cLUMP SUM, AT
\nRISK\u201d contract. Contract award contingent on Board of Trustees approval.<\/p>\n
The Construction Manager shall hold all construction contracts, except to the extent that the Medical
\nCenter exercises it\u2019s right to enter separate contracts for related work pursuant to article 6.6 of this
\ndocument.<\/p>\n
