Sealed Bids addressed to the Louisville and Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District, 700 West Liberty Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40203 for the construction of Hite Creek Water Quality Treatment Center Expansion to 9 MGD<\/b>, Contract No. 15834, Budget ID No. H14126, Drawing Record No. 15834, Sheet No. 1-206, will be received at the office of MSD until 10:00 AM, Local Time, Thursday, May 9, 2019<\/b>, and will be publicly opened and read at that place and time.<\/p>\n Description and location of Project: Hite Creek WQTC Expansion to 9 MGD – Contract Number 15834 The Project will include the installation of new process tanks, buildings, equipment, piping, site improvements, electrical, instrumentation, controls, mechanical and odor control improvements. The project is located at 5512 Hitt Lane, in Northeast Jefferson County, KY. <\/p>\n All work shall be done in accordance to MSD’s Standard Specifications.<\/p>\n There will be a pre-bid meeting held for this project. The pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM, The Engineer\u2019s Construction Cost Estimate for this project is between $20,000,000 to $24,000,000.<\/u><\/p>\n The bid documents will be available on, March 8, 2019<\/b>, online at www.msdbids.com<\/I><\/font><\/a>. \nBusiness Enterprise and Woman Business Enterprise (MBE\/WBE) participation goals shall be applicable to all contracts and comply with MSD\u2019s Interim Supplier Diversity Policy and Guidelines (Interim Policy). The Interim Policy is considered as one of the elements of responsiveness in a bid. Bidders must subcontract at least 15.0% <\/b><\/u>of the total amount of the Contract Bid price to a certified MBE and 6.0%<\/b><\/u> to a certified WBE, or if the Contractor is unable to meet the goals, must demonstrate adequate \u201cGOOD FAITH EFFORTS\u201d in accordance with the Interim Policy.
