The scope of work includes the demolition and removal of existing recreational facilities within the project area, including the basketball court, sand volleyball court, and Playground. Work shall include the removal of all associated site elements and infrastructure, including basketball goals and their concrete footings, the volleyball net system and footings and perimeter sand restraint, playground equipment, and playground surfacing (mulch). The associated plastic curb around the playground area shall be salvaged and returned to the owner.
Existing court and playground lighting fixtures, including light poles and concrete footers, shall be completely removed and properly disposed of off-site. Existing electrical power pedestal and disconnects are also to be completely removed and disposed of off-site.
Following demolition, the site shall be fully regraded to establish positive drainage and eliminate any low points or areas of ponding. Final grading shall be smooth and uniform to match surrounding grades. Disturbed areas shall be seeded and covered with straw mulch to promote stabilization and prevent erosion until vegetation is established.

Phase 2 is an Architectural renovation and Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing upgrade. It also includes removing the existing stair in the office area, and filling in the floor at Level 2. The existing Level 2 area above the offices is to be renovated and converted to an exhibit space. This works includes removing several walls and ceilings, and after the floor infill, new walls, finishes and MEP components are to be provided. Phase 2 includes New lighting and controls, an upgrade to the existing HVAC system to accommodate the areas affected by the renovated areas.
The Work includes replacing the existing roof systems on the Kentucky Artisan Center in Berea, Kentucky. Roof systems to be replaced include SBS Modified Bitumen membrane system, slate shingles replaced with asphalt shingles with a slate shingle appearance, and standing seam copper roofing replaced with concealed clip, pre-finished standing seam metal roofing. Cut limestone capstones will be cleaned throughout the entire facility. Small amount of aluminum storefront system will be replaced at roof gables.

Work includes, but limited to: Masonry restoration of the Limestone Foundation, new structural supports to support the second floor, addition of roof framing, excavate soil under partial areas and provide new joist.

Jackson County Water Association – Grassy Springs Pump Station Rehabilitation
The Project consists of the rehabilitation of an existing pump station, including installation of
new pumps, variable frequency drives, interior piping, valves, fittings, electrical and control
components, and related appurtenances. Work shall include removal and replacement of
specified equipment, testing and startup, and all incidentals necessary for a complete and
operational pump station.
